Dr. Harari is quite an exceptional doctor. She is the most patient, understanding, great listener, wonderful explainer, asks if you have questions, listens and answers your questions. I really couldn’t have asked for a better Doctor. Don’t think twice, don’t worry, she knows exactly what he doing. She is one of the most caring, knowledgeable, and sweetest doctors I have met. She is very thorough with her patients and takes the time to address their concerns about surgery. Exceptionally professional and friendly staff. Truly informative and they made the experience extremely comfortable.

Dr. Avital Harari is a special doctor! She really cares about her patients! I had a biopsy and then surgery with her and throughout the entire process she was professional, patient and very caring.

 I am forever grateful for Dr. Harari, I believe she has provided me the best care for my thyroid cancer. Having cancer is so scary and incredibly frighting. I am 31 years old and I would have never imagined that I would have thyroid cancer, it took me by complete surprise. My previous endocrinologist referred me to a general surgeon to remove my whole thyroid. I knew that didn’t sound right to me, I was given no options and I knew I needed to seek out a specialist to perform my surgery. I came across Dr. Harari online and I immediately booked an appointment with her. We met and I could feel her caring nature and knew she would be the right surgeon for me. Dr. Harari did an ultrasound on my neck and looked at my whole neck-not just my thyroid. She provided me with 3 options, we weighted the pros and cons of my options and left the decision up to me. I felt so much better about my surgery and for the first time I knew I was going to be okay, because I found the right surgeon.

On surgery day, Dr. Harari came in to see me, she told me everything will be okay and she will provide me the pathology as soon as she receives it. The surgery went well, it took about 2.5 hours and I was released home after I woke up. Dr. Harari called me at 9:30pm the night of the surgery to share my pathology results. I was so surprised and happy she called me that late to share my results with me, I am so grateful to have a caring and compassionate doctor like Dr. Harari!

Its been about 2 weeks since my surgery and I am feeling good! Dr Harari is such an expert, my scar is located on the crease of my neck, its so thin and minimal. I know over time my scar will slowly disappear. I am so thankful and grateful for you Dr. Harari, thank you so much!!! I will refer Dr. Harari to anyone who is seeking a endocrine surgeon.

Your hospital, your school and your staff have done an outstanding job. Dr. Harari has performed above the the call of duty. I call her Dr.Ferrari because she is like iron. She is strong. I love Dr. Harari! When I came upon Dr. Harari’s name while researching surgeons to remove my thyroid cancer, her impeccable credentials spoke volumes! During my consultation, I knew immediately I was not going to need to interview any other doctors. I was instantly put as ease by her caring and kind demeanor. Dr. Harari also took the time to repeat anything I wasn’t comprehending (which was a lot, since I was beyond petrified having been diagnosed with cancer). The scar is barely visible, since she skillfully made the incision in the crease of my neck, so unless I extend my head back, it is completely unnoticeable. If you find yourself in the unfortunate place of needing endocrine surgery, Dr. Harari is definitely the way to go!

A friend recommended Dr. Harari after receiving excellent and compassionate care for thyroid cancer. So I already knew about Dr. Harari’s skill, honesty, direct approach, and friendly demeanor. My ailment was primary hyperparathyroidism. The path to surgery took time since most doctors in my community seemed confused about the details of this illness. But Dr. Harari understood the illness, and more, looked beyond a quick fix surgery. Her knowledge of parathyroid disease was needed so I could understand without false hope that my parathyroid disease might become hyperplasia, and that a small nodule in my thyroid might grow into cancer. So far I feel great, and hope to remain that way, but knowing about possible issues is important for long term care. Too many doctors provide only partial details, leaving patients unable to advocate for themselves in the future. Additionally, Dr. Harari’s skills allowed her to navigate my complex tissue, stiff for unknown reasons, to make sure all four glands were checked, and two tumored glands removed. She looked beyond the basic needs of now to safeguard my future. Her talents go beyond a steady hand that can slice and stitch. She is big picture and proactive in her approach, which is a truly valuable trait to have in a surgeon. And about that slicing and dicing: what scar? My neck looks as it did before surgery, a small line added to an already existing crease in my neck. Thank you, Dr. Harari!

Hello Dr Harari,
I hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day yesterday. I spent the day with my two grown kids, hiking, lunch and watching home movies of them when they were little. Precious times. I just wanted to tell you that we are all so grateful to you for taking such good care of me during my recent surgery. The scar is practically invisible only 3 weeks later, and my children are so relieved that this scary phase in our lives is now over. We all wanted to say thank you to you.
